INFECTIOUS DISEASE TRAINING AND RESEARCH GROUP GOMBE (INDITREGO) 

Infectious Disease Training And Research Group, Gombe(INDITREGO) was founded To enhance the health outcomes of children, adolescents and adults with infectious diseases by continuous pursuance of excellence in the management and prevention of these diseases through clinical care, education, research and advocacy  

INDITREGO was also established to among others build the capacity of health systems to deliver high quality treatment, care, support and prevention of Infectious diseases in Nigeria and beyon

OBJECTIVES

1. To disseminate current, high quality, evidence based relevant scientific information on infectious diseases to medical doctors and other health care workers and stakeholders
2. To foster greater collaboration between all stakeholders.
3. To support the strengthening and development of effective care models to meet the needs of health care workers and patients with infectious diseases in Nigeria.
4. To support and develop research agenda in infectious diseases in especially North East Sub region and Nigeria in general.
5. To conduct and support research in infectious disease that is/are particularly relevant to the North East sub region and the country in general.
6. To foster collaboration, linkage and partnership with infectious disease groups, societies and institutions in Nigeria and beyond.
7. To advocate for public health policy on infectious disease informed by  sound scientific and  programmatic evidence
